Rush Bowls is now open at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls makes meals-on-the-go in the form of bowls. The bowls are made from blended fruits and vegetables, then topped with organic granola and honey, and other healthy choices.
What is on the menu at Rush Bowls?
Customers can choose from 40 bowls and smoothies on the menu, made with all-natural ingredients like acai, strawberries, and other delicious ingredients. The new airport location at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) will serve a partial menu of its signature blended fruit and vegetable bowls and smoothies.
You can craft your bowl with some of the following goodies. For example, you can top your bowl with strawberry, banana, blueberry, peanut butter, almond butter, flax seeds, chia seeds, coconut, and much more.
Also, you can add supplements such as kale/spinach, chocolate whey, vanilla whey, soy protein, brain wave, antioxidant, multivitamin, fiber, and matcha green tea.
Rush Bowls menu does cater to almost all dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, low-carb, and keto.
Why we like it
Above all, Rush Bowls is the ideal airport food because it provides an easy to travel with, eat as you walk to your gate meal. Precisely the sort of thing I need when I am tight on time. Also, there is something convenient about eating out of a bowl.
We also like that Rush Bowls gives back to the community. Their website says,
“Our commitment to health goes beyond our customers and extends to the communities we serve. We feel that, in numbers, a little effort can go a long way.” Take a look here at some of the organizations they support.
Location: Terminal 2, Gate D9 Hours: 4:30 a.m.- 8 p.m.
