A new plant-based cafe The Happy Pear has opened at Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport today.
Twin brothers Stephen and David Flynn founded the Happy Pear and have built their business on the ideals of health, happiness, and community. The Happy Pear founders Stephen and David Flynn were at Dublin Airport this morning to open the new plant-based airport cafe, and to serve some of its first customers.

What is on the menu at the new plant-based cafe The Happy Pear at Dublin Airport
The new Happy Pear cafe at Dublin airport will feature hand-roasted coffee and a good selection of healthy pastries. You can also find a vegan and vegetarian array of foods, and their signature sandwiches, salads, soups, and hot food bowls.
The new plant-based cafe will also feature The Happy Pear’s award-winning pesto and hummus products.
Besides a focus on sustainable plant-based food, the Happy Pear cafe will use fully compostable takeaway containers, cups, straws, and cutlery. In a bid to combat waste, customers will be rewarded through incentives such as a 20% discount on hot drinks if they use a reusable cup.
The Happy Pear cafe will also donate any surplus food to local charities through the
food redistribution charity, FoodCloud and coffee grinds are used by local
gardeners.
