Moscow Domodedovo airport just hosted its first yoga event to celebrate World HeartDay! World HeartDay is about you looking after your heart. With a commitment to eating healthy, say no to smoking, exercising, and more.

Yoga teacher Anna Bontar from Yogic project guided passengers through breathing techniques and poses. The event took place at the international arrivals atrium, located on the terminal’s first floor.

Yoga is a popular exercise that focuses on breathing, strength, and flexibility.

According to scientific research, highlighted in medicalnewstoday.com yoga may, reduce stress, relieve anxiety, help manage depression, and decrease lower back pain.

Between 2012 and 2017, the percentage of people in the United States practicing yoga increased from 9.5% to 14.3% in adults. It’s also increased from 3.1% to 8.4% in children.
