Why yoga?
Yoga Day has been celebrated annually on June 21 since its inception in 2015 when it was declared unanimously by the United Nations as a day to be recognized each year entirely dedicated to yoga.
Practicing yoga is hugely beneficial for travellers because of the limited mobility inflight, often for long periods of time. Five-plus hours in a small seat doesn’t do your body any good! Yoga can help before, during and after your flight.
Not only does it keep your body active, but it also offers much-needed stretches to avoid cramping and potentially dangerous side effects like deep-vein thrombosis. It even allows you to take a mental time out to keep you healthy and happy in body and mind throughout your journey.
