Cathay Pacific has opened a dedicated space for busy travelers to practice yoga and meditation. The space is now open at Hong Kong International Airport in The Pier Business Class lounge.
This 700-square-foot space is called “The Sanctuary.” “The Sanctuary” is divided into two zones, one, The Body Sanctuary is for yoga and two, The Mind Sanctuary for meditation.
There is also a secluded space for self-practice; it also offers gentle yoga and seated stretching through guided videos led by yoga teachers. You can practice two types of meditation in The Mind Sanctuary: audio meditation and gazing meditation.

Designed in partnership with The Pure Group and Pure Yoga, the space has soft lighting, warm tones, and organic forms to help put you in the right mood.
The Body Sanctuary
The Body Sanctuary provides travelers with a good-sized space for gentle yoga practices. The space fits five mats comfortably. A TV on the wall offers guided yoga and stretching practices. There’s also a secluded space for solo practice.
The Mind Sanctuary
The Mind Sanctuary offers two types of meditations. One, the audio meditation area consists of four cushioned pods equipped with noise-canceling headphones and iPads. Guided meditation sessions are narrated by Pure Yoga’s expert teachers. The gazing meditation area consists of comfortable cushions that overlook graphics placed on the wall to inspire.
Wellness on the ground before you board
The Sanctuary by Pure Yoga is available to travelers who have access to Cathay Pacific’s The Pier Business Class Lounge at Hong Kong Airport, In addition, to Diamond, Gold, and Silver Marco Polo Club members. Further, Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon First and Business Class passengers will also be able to enjoy some mediation on the fly.
