Beauty blogger Huda Kattan has such a big following she has launched her first vending machine carrying her cruelty-free mink lashes and faux nail sets in the Dubai Sunset Mall. Chanel’s Nailmatic machine was initially intended to promote new products like nail polishes and Le Volume mascara.

1. Sephora was the first to jump on the beauty kiosk concept back in 2009.  Today they offer over 50 selections of best sellers from products like Bare Escentuals, Korres, Smashbox, Juicy Couture, Dior, Philosophy, Murad and more found all over the US.
Now you never have to worry about forgetting any of your favorite toiletries because it’s all there at the touch of your fingertips.

2. Benefit can be found at selected US airports selling 30 of the brand’s bestselling products like the PoreFessional Primer and the They’re Real Mascara.
I encountered the trendy Benefits Cosmetics  “beauty kiosks” in Las Vegas Airport, for the first time. They currently have 52 kiosks in 34 airports and cities in the USA. I love the cute pink vintage bus style of the machine which is so true to the Benefit kitsch style.  Not familiar with all the products? The touchscreen device gives make-up tips and tricks to the busy traveler.

3. The Essie Color Boutique in major airports across the US holds 48 shades from the main collection and six from rotating seasonal collection.  Now you have no worries if you have a chipped nail or you have some time to kill at the airport.  I’d pass on giving yourself a pedicure wait you wait though.  Look for the airport spas that could offer a fabulous pedicure and foot massage before you hop on the plane.

Their many top beauty products you will find here plus many you can try out too.

5. CVS vending machine at La Guardia airport.

The CVS vending machine carries items such as beauty and personal care products like deodorant, makeup remover, vitamins and supplements, eye care and solutions for healthy sleep such as melatonin.

I realize that nothing replaces that face to face service with your beauty expert, but this is a perfect last-minute purchase for that OMG moment when you realize you forgot to pack your mascara or sunscreen.  It’s great for the brands you already know and have tried.

The only problem I foresee is one of the products getting trapped on the way down the machine after purchase.

That brings me back to my high school days in the cafeteria when you could just call on the closest jock to give the machine a little tip to the side to retrieve that Snickers Bar that got stuck.  My word of advice…. please don’t get arrested at the airport over a mascara!
