Who knew airport yoga rooms in the USA are even happening when most of us can’t also find a decent meal before a flight? It turns out; there are several airport yoga rooms at US airports.
And just like finding decent food, you’ll want to see suitable airport yoga rooms too.
Airports are stressful. Just like the massive Los Angeles traffic, they can make us want to scream (and that would be bad on a flight).
Even though you can’t entirely escape the chaos of the terminal, you can escape to one of the many airport yoga rooms.
However, it’s not just limited to airport yoga rooms. We’ve seen people busting a move right there at the gate!
There is plenty of Instagram evidence to show that yogis have taken to finding open spots to practice. For some inspiration, here is five airport yoga poses you can do anywhere.

Keep calm in North American Airport yoga rooms
1.San Francisco Airport Yoga Rooms
The world’s first airport yoga studio opened at SFO in 2012. The airport has two locations in domestic terminals only. International passengers will have to downward dog at their gates – and possibly get some stares.
Locations: Terminal 2 (in Boarding Area D) and Terminal 3 (Boarding Area E, near Gate 69). Open daily 24-hours.

2.Miami International Airport Yoga Room
Mats are not provided, nor is the yoga room affiliated with any specific yoga studio. Make sure to enjoy the serene space where you can relax and get some yoga on.
Location: Terminal H (1st Floor, Pre-Security) Open: Mon-Sun from 9 a.m – 9 p.m.

3.Dallas-Fort Worth Airport
Two yoga rooms with complimentary practice mats to escape the noise.
Locations: Gate D40 (in the hallway connecting Terminals B and D) and E1.

4.Chicago O’Hare Airport Yoga Room
A video monitor offers yoga exercise techniques, and a public restroom for changing clothes is nearby. Mats provided.
Location: Mezzanine Level of the Terminal 3 Rotunda, near the urban garden. Open daily 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
5.Chicago Midway Airport
A video monitor offers yoga instruction tips. Mats provided.
Location: Concourse C, next to the Mother’s Room. Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
6.Burlington (Vermont) International Airport:
Mats, pillows, and blocks provided for free.
Location: Second floor, near a family bathroom and across from the airport Observation Tower. The yoga room is closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

7.Sioux Falls Regional Airport
The yoga studio opened in 2015 and provides yoga mats, and charts that recommend postures for before and after your flight.
